MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
- This position provides purchasing related assistance to business units
- This position ensures the implementation of Audi purchasing process
- This position ensures the cost saving of project to maximum and to remain within budget
- This position ensures the sourcing within the timeframe to guarantee the smooth roll out of the sourcing scope
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Sourcing Execution & Commercial Negotiation
- Lead sourcing process and cross functional alignment for marketing-related categories (covering media buy, offline events, digital marketing, creative production, etc.) to secure project timeline and optimal commercial terms
- Manage in-depth cost breakdown/structure analysis for responsible categories
- Prepare negotiation strategy and conduct negotiation with suppliers on commercial and contractual terms
- Independently prepare and present projects in sourcing committees
- Lead and compose full legit service agreement with supplier and internal stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process and documentation under compliance and audit regulations
- Business Units Engagement & Collaboration Management
- Act as a sourcing business partner to deeply engage with Marketing, Branding, and other business units. Proactively participate in early-stage demand discussions, providing market insights and cost-optimization suggestions from a sourcing perspective to guide stakeholders in setting reasonable expectations
- Establish and maintain efficient communication mechanisms with business units. Regularly review sourcing service quality and process efficiency, effectively resolving cross-functional conflicts and enhancing internal customer satisfaction
- Supplier Management
- Manage supplier scouting, screening, qualification, and performance evaluation to build and continuously optimize a high-quality marketing supplier pool. Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers, monitoring their service quality, creative output, and delivery timelines to effectively identify and mitigate supply risks
- Identify and systematically nurture innovative local Chinese suppliers, empowering and incubating them to become high-quality supply resources for global projects
- Project Analysis & Strategic Support
- Support end-to-end management of major marketing projects, offering optimization recommendations from supply chain and sourcing strategy perspectives to ensure perfect on-time, high-quality, and on-budget delivery
- Advanced & Strategic Tasks
- Management presentation, data-driven report
- Continuing work on and drive cost optimization for key material group
- Collaboration with Group Purchasing strategy
- Cost Optimization for global projects. Maintain close communication and collaboration with Audi AG, synergizing cross-border marketing projects to ensure local execution aligns seamlessly with the global brand strategy
Necessary education:
- Master’s or above
- Excellent proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), with the ability to use English as a working language
- German language skill preferred
Personal skills:
Analystical skills, negotiation skills, multitasking, conflict management skills, knowing of PEP and product development process
Working experience (in years):
- 3-5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing, with a strong preference for experience in marketing-related sourcing
- Familiar with key resources and pricing logic in marketing sourcing, with proven experience in managing and executing large-scale projects. Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred
