MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

This LabCar Test Control position is overall responsible for GOB and OTA test on LabCar, including LabCar maintenance and commissioning as well as test design, plan, execution and report. It will provide strong guarantee to ensure the test coverage and comprehensiveness of OTA/KD-Flashhub. Main objectives will include but not limited to: test environment standardization, test Automation and orchestration, data synchronization and traceability, configuration management, real-time monitoring and diagnostics, comprehensive documentation, cross-functional collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Main tasks:

• Manage Test Instances: Build up, commissioning, maintain, and operate test environments (e.g., LabCar, HIL, ECU test benches).
• Conversion of Testing Input: Receive, coordinate, and resolve testing requirements from OTA/GOB FOs or Technical Lead.
• Monitoring Hardware demands: Oversee mounting, dismounting, parts changes, wiring, and harness work with external teams.
• Manage Measurement Systems: Design concepts, realize, and handle measurement equipment sets.
• Allocate Testing Tasks: Assign testing activities across different instances and managing external colleagues.
• Execute & Oversee Testing: Run test cases (with/without FO input), monitor results, and validate quality with Technical Leader//Test Manager
• Deep Troubleshooting: Analysis of issues down to the signal level on vehicle bus systems.
• Develop Test Concepts: Create and continue developing of new testing approaches for Technical Analysis (TA).
• Implement Test Automation: Work with Test Infrastructure Expert and manage test automation solutions.
• Comprehensive Reporting: Present test findings to FO and Technical Lead.

Other tasks:

• Develop test plan with flexibility regarding certain issue reproduce.
• Join bug-fixing meeting to support error fixing, where necessary.
• Collaborate with FOs, Test Infrastructure Expert, Error Management to improve the overall test efficiency and effectiveness of Flashhub.

Necessary education:

A minimum of a Master degree in Automation, Computer Science, or Communication Technology.

Personal skills:

Highly motivated with initiative working attitude and a strong team player; must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines; good organizational as well as communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility; ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.

Working experience (in years):

Minimum 3 year experience in test automation; experience in the field of automative industry is desired; Certified Software Tester qualification preferred.

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

Knowledge of various automotive network and its protocols; Basic Python and C++ skills for developing automated test scripts; Experience with TA Environment, Vector, dSpace tools; HIL knowledge preferred; Hands-on experience and motivation of working with test benches; Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency); good knowledge of English (business fluent); German is a plus.
