MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

This position ensures

  • Coordination and self-reliant handling of assigned product management tasks with specialization in Product Management ADAS
  • Facilitating decisions in Audi China, VW Group China and support decision process of headquarters in Audi AG committees or decision-making circles in accordance with strategy while considering predefined timelines, costs, efficiency, and complexity.
  • Roadmap definition of future ADAS stacks for Audi in China from market, customer, technical and legislation perspectives
  • The management of product requirements and ensure on schedule implementation and manage UpToDate portfolio over lifecycle
  • The early identification and avoidance of problems and use of appropriate escalation channels
  • Integration and alignment of positions of all stakeholders to create an efficient working mode
  • Contribution to achieve company goals and philosophy

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

  1. Coordination and self-reliant handling of assigned product management tasks with specialization in Product Management ADAS
    • Define the China ADAS roadmap and align target picture with stakeholders incl. technical stack, scaling concept, implementation timeline from market, customer, technical and legislation perspectives
    • Oversees both implementation and operations planning of ADAS roadmap
    • Management of CPP for ADAS with all JVs in order to establish an attractive, compliant and feasible portfolio
    • Define requirements for Audi platforms in China cross-departmentally
    • Steer and align regional implementation/roll-out strategy incl. monitoring, pushing and tracking fulfilment of requirements
    • Drive and support China product requirements approval and maintain the portfolio
    • Leading cross-functional product teams
    • Enhance workload distribution and responsibilities within project group according to project milestone perspective
    • Guarantee effective (sub) project coordination and communication for responsible functional area

 

  1. Ensure project quality and on schedule outputs management tasks with specialization in Product Management ADAS
    • Align key performance indicators within relevant company stakeholders
    • Demand clear commitments by all stakeholder
    • Prioritize project tasks of team members and management communication
    • Track fulfilment of key performance indicators of the project
    • Compile and maintain records, statistical information and reports
    • Organize and track project related meetings

 

  1. Early identification and avoidance of problems
    • Pursue execution of aligned escalation mechanisms for identified project problems
    • Master conflict with communication and generate win- win solutions
    • Update the supervising management on status of issues before scheduled meetings
  2. Integration and alignment of positions of all stakeholders
    • Steering product process within Audi China
    • Entrepreneurial/content driven steering of all stakeholders to fulfill project goal
    • Aligning requirements with JV partners Coordinating and pushing Group synergies
    • Central contact for synchronization of project communication with related departments of Volkswagen Group / AUDI AG / Audi China / JVs
    • Represent project tasks within VW Group / AUDI AG / Audi China in the absence of the supervising management
    • Ensure smooth information flow at all times and be able to spontaneously give a current overview to the supervising management
  3. Research and screen incoming reports, make preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and forward appropriate materials to the supervising management
  4. Contribute to achieve company goals and philosophy:

    • Profitable market penetration: Steering of regional product process and requests
    • Enhance effectiveness of the department by improving reliable basis for decision-making process

  • Leading and coordinating dedicated product teams and intercultural department for system strategy and planning
  • Coordinating management of dedicated teams and their reporting in the product committees

 

Necessary education:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Automotive Engineering / related field….

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  • German and Chinese language skills are useful
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office
