RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

• Supplier Quality Responsibility in the product/system development of defined purchased parts, modules and systems including software if applicable from project start to EOP covering assurance of purchased parts quality in the field
• Active SQ role together with purchasing, development and logistic in the supplier management process, e.g. evaluation QTR, technical concept, Q-LAH, participation on sourcing kick-off meeting, evaluation PKL (program critical suppliers)
• Support to set quality-related requirements including quality targets in consideration of the new product/system development including function and software from quality perspective
• Review and verification of supplier process FMEA for selected crucial parts, modules or systems
• Follow-up maturity level in frame of QPNi and in case of deviation escalation where necessary
• Align and verify the parts specific measuring tools, checking fixtures with suppliers
• During PPA process in case of deviation, initiation and implementation of corrective measures and escalation where necessary
• Support holistic failure analysis and failure elimination of purchased parts in series
• Initiate, implement and follow-up sustainably the improvement program at suppliers (PKL)
• Initiate Lessons-learned and upload the Q requirement in AVW where necessary

• Release recommendation of defined purchased products incl. system and function and supplier production process as well
• Initial samples planning and execution purchased parts
• Responsible for Q-statement for series software
• Monitoring and proof of process capability and quality performance of complete production process under series production condition, implementation of corrective measures and in case of deviations escalation where necessary
• Carrying out 2 days production (2DP)

• Monitoring series purchased parts quality and problem solving
• Support series purchased parts of components/systems and functions in comprehensive failure analysis
• Quality complaints of components/systems and functions tracking through FAP (failure elimination process)
• Manage & conduct supplier via TRL & PKL.

• Support aforementioned SQE tasks for the defined VW Group projects of Audi responsible modules

Special Task:

• Support the product and process release as Audi AG SQ extended arm and submit release recommendation to Audi AG SQ
• Supplier qualification and training where necessary
• Special VW Group projects of Audi responsible modules
• Any urgent task delegation from VW Group, Audi AG and Audi factories

Necessary education: Master / Bachelor, field of Automotive engineering, Automotive manufacturing, Material Engineering, or equivalent

• Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate well with people in a variety of positions, roles and levels (both in verbal and written)
• Excellent in effectively respond, verbally or written, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints.
• High flexible and strong ability in managing changes in time and to analyse and solve problems involving several options with limited information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Intercultural openness
• Flexibility of business trip in China and Asia region

Working experience (in years):

• Minimum 10 years working experience in automotive quality assurance area of purchased parts, supplier management and development projects especially in area of autonomous driving
• Good experience of QA tasks in frame of vehicle PEP
• Good experience maturity level evaluation in frame of QPNi including initial sampling planning, conducting PCA etc.
• Good experience of production process requirements of defined commodity area
• Good experience to conduct technical revision
• Good network within Audi AG GQ areas

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge and experience of QMS standards IATF 16949, core QM quality tools, PPF process (VDA 2), PFMEA, Formel-Q, QPNi, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, Problem solving tools e.g. 8D or other root cause analysis tools.
• Good knowledge of production process requirements of interior and metal components
• Good knowledge and experience in Group IT systems of Hyper KVS, BEON, LION, TEVON, Nolis etc.
