MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

This position ensures

• Self-reliant handling of assigned tasks with specialization in Technology Roadmap
• The management of project quality and on schedule outputs for the assigned tasks
• The early identification and avoidance of problems and use of appropriate escalation channels
• Integration and alignment of positions of all stakeholders in order to create an efficient working mode
• Contribution to achieve company goals and philosophy

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

• Self-reliant handling of assigned tasks with specialization in Technology Roadmap 4R/4L:
• Provide competent guidance, information research and inter-divisional coordination of assigned projects
1. Define and adjust Technology Roadmap Audi China (overview of platform, powertrain, E/E, ADAS planning etc./Project related Innovations) for 2 brands (4rings & 4letters) based on decided Cycleplan and portfolio considering regional with VW Group China and Audi AG/Audi China internal synergies
2. Steer technology strategies incl. budget planning (e.g. platform, drivetrain, ADAS, E/E etc.) in consideration with vehicle lifecycle planning to ensure synchronized integration of technological and innovative solutions into the product planning phase
1. Review and track Portfolio/Product planning in consideration of Technology Roadmap and –technology action field requests from Audi AG/Audi China/ JVs
2. Participate in Audi AG/Audi China Cycleplan meetings/Technology Roadmap discussion
• Guarantee effective project coordination and communication for responsible functional area

• Ensure project quality and on schedule outputs
• Track fulfilment of key performance indicators of the project
• Compile and maintain records, statistical information and reports
• Organize and track project related meetings

• Early identification and avoidance of problems
• Pursue execution of aligned escalation mechanisms for identified Technology strategy problems
• Update the supervising management on status of issues before scheduled meetings

• Integration and alignment of positions of all stakeholders
• Steering Technology Roadmap/Strategy process within Audi China
• Synchronize project communication with related departments of Volkswagen Group / AUDI AG / Audi China
• Ensure smooth information flow at all times and be able to spontaneously give a current overview to the supervising management
• Research and screen incoming reports, make preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and forward appropriate materials to the supervising management

• Contribute to achieve company goals and philosophy:
• Profitable market penetration: Steering of regional Product related Technology request among three Joint-Ventures (FAW-VW, SAIC Audi, NEV Co.) and 2 brands (4rings & 4letters)
• Enhance effectiveness of the department by improving reliable basis for decision-making process

Special Task:

Content preparation Board meetings/WSs Audi China Technology Roadmap/Technology Strategy related topics e.g. A-VAP/Audi Board WS/C-VAP/VGC Board meetings/JV SHM & BoD/ K-MGT/K-VS etc. incl. Briefing/decision proposal/ alignment

Necessary education:

Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Automotive Engineering / related field….

min. 8 years experience in the respective field

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

• Excellent English skills (written and spoken)

German and Chinese language skills are useful
