MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Test Infrastructure Expert is the key role to ensure the overall IT system, test environment stability of OTA/KD-Flashhub. The main goals are to maximize successfully test rate and optimize test efficiency via the fulfilment of IT security hardening, IT tool chain monitoring, infrastructure resilience, stakeholder coordination, automation implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Main tasks:

• Backend Oversight: Oversee functionality of OTA/GOB-related backend systems.
• Development & Deployment: Participate in backend development rounds and oversee deployments.
• Artefact Management: Collect backend artefacts, evaluate for conformity and correctness.
• Key User: Key User for OTA Backend incl. after OTA/KD Package Rollout.
• Backend Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot errors occurring on the backend using backend logs.
• ORU App: Hold responsibility for the ORU App or ORU Related Customer Interfaces
• Tool SPOC: Serve as SPOC for ORU Dashboard, Data Collector, and related tools.
• IT Toolchain: Facilitate IT toolchain implementation for daily work, e.g. Data Storage and Exchange System.
• Solution Development: Generate local solutions interfacing with various backend users.
• Test automation development and improvement
• Support OTA@TE in China on behalf of OTA/KD-Flashhub

Other tasks:

• Support Data Management to implement local data management solution.
• Lead the local development/ AG roll-out of IT system or digital tools to OTA/KD-Flashhub.
• Participate in IT system related meeting, workshop, where necessary.
• Support in user access management and role definition.
• Explain any IT related topic to stakeholders, especially to JV partner, on behalf of OTA/KD-Flashhub.

Necessary education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Science, or Computer Science.

Personal skills:

Highly motivated with initiative working attitude and a strong team player; must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness and deadlines; good organizational as well as communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility; ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.

Working experience (in years):

Minimum 3 year experience within Cloud Services, Backend Systems and Connectivity Services; experience in the field of automotive industry is desired; cross-cultural competence is a plus.

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

Deep understanding of VW Group Backend Structure, esp. vehicle-to-backend interfaces, experience with CoreServices is preferred; Experience in DevOps practices and backend system deployment; Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; Proficient MS Office knowledge; Mandarin (mother tongue or equivalent proficiency); good knowledge of English (business fluent); German is a plus.
