Job Description

MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

1. Sets up and leads customized development teams fitting the tasked projects and creates a function characteristics sheet;
2. Obtains project approval incl. Business Case (if necessary for whole vehicle life cycles, e.g. function on demand, connect functions) based on a defined roadmap in all relevant committees at Audi China, JVs and Headquarter project management;
3. Assures fit of property- & function requirements according to initial vehicle or function characteristics definition (customer level);
4. Secures consideration of the group-module-strategy (if module relevant; based on input of development division in charge) ;
5. Evaluates, approves and controls development budget;
6. Leads the negotiations with the JV-partners and steers the budgeting to the Audi TE Beijing departments;
7. Supports JV audit and trains JV in dedicated scopes.

Qualifications

Necessary education

Bachelor or higher degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, alternatively in economical engineering.

• Very good co-operation and communication skills;
• Analytical thinking and self-reflection;
• Organization and project management skills;
• Presentation skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Process management system Skills (QMS, PCMS, ISO, SUMS, CSMS,..);
• Experiences in external Audits;
• Work experience with Joint Venture or Partner Companies or Groups.

Working experience

• 5+ years working experience in the automotive industry, ideally in the field of simultaneous engineering or project management.

Remarks

• Good command of English, both in speaking and writing;
• Knowledge of German preferred;
• Proficiency in MS office (PPT, Excel,..).
