Engineer Planner

Main goals and objectives:

  1. Execution of demanding planning processes and operations on dedicated projects
  2. Target-oriented analysis and rating of complaints in collaboration with the related departments in at AUDI CHINA / AUDI AG/ JV partner
  3. Independent tracking and evaluation of remedial processes
  4. Prepare recommendation for approval, documentation and reporting of results to project teams at AUDI CHINA / AUDI AG / JV partner
  5. Organization of cross-departmental status and approvals as well as conception and planning of reviews or tests in collaboration related business units

 

 

Responsibilities / Tasks:

Main Tasks –

  1. Execution of demanding planning processes and operations in-between an uncertain environment (planning, reporting, communication, negotiation and alignment)
  1. Ensure quality and efficiency according to the content defined in the work instructions
  2. Self-contained planning with high influence on time and/or budget
  3. Analysis, reproduction and evaluation of demands from other departments complaints
  4. Planning of project specific tests and special tests with the related departments
  5. Coordination and synchronization with workshop staff and related departments or management
  6. Collaboration and Knowhow Transfer with global expatriate and local employees (e.g. Audi China, VW China, JV (Joint Venture), Supplier etc.) in projects (Base on contracts, special services and compliance)
  7. Responsible for mentoring the interns of the team and coordinate their temporary tasks and projects

 

  1. Target-oriented analysis and rating of deviations in collaboration with the related departments
  1. Documentation, prioritization and categorization of demands from other departments
  2. Evaluation of demands and clarification of their impact on the department or project
  3. Definition and planning of remedial measures

 

  1. Independent tracking and evaluation of remedial processes
  1. Tracking and verification of remedial measures within the project phase
  2. Monitoring of project time plan and milestones
  3. Regular reporting / moderation of status own area of responsibility

 

  1. Prepare recommendation for documentation and reporting of results to project teams
  1. Active Participation in project specific and cross-departmental voting and approval meetings
  2. Independent presentations of status own area of responsibility / progress in the department and on management level

 

 

Necessary education:

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Working experience:

  1. Several years of working experience in the automotive industry
  2. Experience in the field of vehicle production or vehicle development 
  3. Cross-cultural competence is a plus
  4. Expert level in process and product for all relevant tasks and advanced knowledge about  interface functions

 

Remarks:

  1. Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
  2. Chinese and German language skills are useful
  3. Proficient MS Office knowledge
  4. Knowledge in working area (system, electrics, etc.)
